Losing my Love Juice



Depends on where the oil is on the engine. Likely culprits are the camshaft 
seal or if all the oil is down low the crank seals. If it's all over the 
front of the engine then oil cooler to filter mount seal.
The high pitched whine is probably a too tight timing belt. Could also be a 
failing bearing, don't forget the timing belt tensioner bearing, or 
something in contact with the alternator fan. Bearings can be isolated by 
listening to each bearing, or section of the appropriate housing, through a 
rubber tube or the old screwdriver tip on the offending item, end of the 
screwdriver against the ear trick. Careful the screw driver or rubber hose 
doesn't get caught in rotating stuff. Prepare yourself to back off fast and 
let go of the tool if necessary.
