Help needed with 16V CIS-E!!



You should have little to no pressure at the injectors with the sensor plate at rest - especially if the fuel distributor plunger is
verified at bottom.

Verify pressure into fuel distributor is 75 PSI.  If the output is still so high (50 PSI), suspect faulty fuel distributor.
Possible failure, especially if the car sat for a while, is fuel gummed up the plunger above bottom position, preventing it from
returning to fully bottomed.  With fuel pressure bled off, distributor disconnected and off the car, you should be able to move the
plunger assembly with light finger pressure.
