2L 16v engine work ok with (base) CIS?



The 1.8L PL pistons are flat, neither domed nor dished.  They only have 
valve reliefs.  Get the four layer metal head gasket from TT.  With the ARP 
studs, if you clean up the valves and seats, you'll never need to pull that 
head off again.
