Use of foam as insulator?



Are you talking about the truck bed liner in a spray can or something else? 
The stuff in the spray can isn't thick and won't block any noise at all. 
(Ask me how I know that).  If you have the car all apart anyways, there is 
no excuse not to dynamat the crap out of it.  It will sound like a Mercedes 
inside when you are done.  It's expensive but you should be able to overdo 
the car for $200-$300.
