Well, I've only tried to put MkI seats in my MkI, and later rear benches
(from an "S") will NOT fit into the stock brackets of my '79. So I expect
the 77 would be the same. If you can weld I'm sure the brackets could be
easily modified. A1 Jetta front seats will fit. That's all I've ever tried.
I could be a nice person and try some of the A2/A4 seats around herein my
rocco for you eh? Oh, the boy says that A4 seats need modification to fit
into his A2 Jetta. So there you go. I know Drew has Corrado seats in his
MkII, not sure how much modding was involved, but knowing him, likely some!
