Symptoms: Car would not start. Repeated attempts released magic smoke from under the dash near the fuse box. <shudder> Cause? Fuel pump relay burned up and melted the fuse box. Its a dealer item only (damn) so I bypassed the relay with a fuse and switch. Hopefully, I'll be right back after a test run to the autoparts store....
