Stupid question of the Day

This is the (in)famous Oil Pressure Warning System circuit.
It is a small "L" shaped board sitting behind the speedometer inside
the instrument cluster.
It has pins that plug into a larger board.
In my case, intermittent light blinking and buzzer sounding, and
slowly driving me nuts. It also drove my mechanic bananas, he tried
every possible combination of oil pressure sensors he could think of.
Banging on the cluster would cause the noise and light show to cease
for a while, which led me to suspect a bad connection.
I took the cluster apart, and discovered that the solder of the pins
of the connector on that small board had cracked, causing intermittent
failures. Fixed that with a drop of fresh solder.

When I'm below 2k no warning and on the way home no problem!!! However, now I thing I hear some engine noise (i would guess from the backside of the engine, sitting in the drivers seat).
