[OT] 1990 Jetta - Bushing, front engine subframe replacement



Congrats, you've found the toughest $2 improvement to an A2.

The old ones are all hard and squished so cutting them out is difficult 
even with the subframe out.  Trying to do it with it installed will just 
make a mess since you can't really lower one at a time.  It is a 
complete mystery why Bentley makes no mention of these.

But wait, let me guess, you are trying to get rid of a mysterious clunk?
Theory being that they have slop in them?  Wait until you have the 
engine out or sell the car first and donate the bushings to the next 
owner.  They're cheap.  Look elsewhere for the clunk.
