Brake conversion

I used the rear discs off of one of my GTI parts cars. I also used the
E brake cable that I had to modify by cutting the sheath down about an inch
where it enters the body. The only thing I think I have to do to fix the
system is use the MC from the GTI to fill the slave cylinder properly in the
rear calipers. The fronts are Rocco MK2 discs which I think are the 10.1's.
These rears are the standard MK2 GTI 8.9's. The only other thing I might
look into is getting the proportioning valve that was only put on GLI's to
shore up the rears. When I did the track day with the car after the swap I
found there was actually almost no gains for me. This is why I think I need
the MC to make them work right. They work, just not with the right
pressures.... that would explain all the donuts I did that day... my fronts
were tighter then my rears.

What I have is the whole system from an 87 16V Scirocco donor. The
rear calipers are Girling and this is the booster/master with the prop
valves on the m/c. http://pws.prserv.net/gforbess/scirocco/brake.jpg

You also need e-brake cables from a 16V and the rear flex brake lines.
If you have the whole setup, there is no adjustment needed.
