Header issues - 8V



The MK IV 1.8T engine came with a really nice little heat shield that bolted to the back of the engine and curved up over the inner CV boot.
You can see a picture of it here:

Anyway, I believe the bolt holes in the back of the 1.8T block are the same as the early 4 cylinder engines.
