16V headers, what's good/what to avoid/etc

Okay, so I find myself with a 20 year old car that I promised headers to
when she turned 20. We all know her, my 87 silver headache, Euro cams, 50mm
intake, 1.8 16V head/9A block, etc, so she'd likely benefit from headers,
and may end up with more agressive cams at some point.
Anyway, what has been decent as far as performance, fitment and bang for
the buck and "durability"?
I know they are more vulnerable to flex cracking, etc, and I also wanted to
know if they have any rubbing (as in, make you insane rattling) issues. And
what suppliers are good/should be avoided, that sort of stuff. I need to
decide pretty quickly so I can bring them back on a US trip in a few weeks,
