El T, what can I say?  I don't want to see my inebriated Scirocco
brethren get crushed whilst trying to swap a fender.  Especially when
the jack is on grass.

 

Plus, you can thank Mike Smith who also advised you to borrow a jack
stand so's you wouldn't lose a limb.  We're just looking out for you,
especially when you're all hopped up on Cocaine*.

		Most of the time, at least in the 5+ years I've been on
the 'tex, the Scirocco forum has been pretty reasonable. There are a
couple of bad eggs now and again, but given the open enrollment, you're
always going to have a few questionables. Even the list is susceptible
to bad behavior.
