Good choice on the plain 2.5" tailpipe Cathy!

I like the way the plain pipe looks, and it's the route I'm taking on Mars,
for the same reasons.

I'm running just a semi-polished stainless TT tailpipe, shortened expertly
by Peter when it was installed.  I just cleaned it up some with something
called "nano-polish."  I can't remember whose make it is, but it works well.
I've been using the same stuff to get some overspray removed from a set of
Borbets that have been taking up space in the basement, and that had does a
good job without marring the clearcoat.

Okay, so I looked at various fancy exhaust tips, and also at some vintage
cars at a car show, and decided to just go with the pipe itself instead of a
tip. But...has anyone ever tried polishing the TT SS pipe itself, and if so,
what did you use? I think this would be the best case scenario for my
application, sedate and classy. My goal for this car is to have it end up as
stock looking as possible till you pop the hood :D Cathy
