I just thought I'd update you on some Audio stuff. I've been
looking for a Kenwood Deck as I told you before because I hate the Alpine
that came in my GLI. I was looking specifically for the KDC-X590. It's
basically a Deck that does MP3/WMA off of a disc but also has a USB jack for
a jump drive and will read music off of that. It has one added feature that
made me think of what we were talking about before, it's able to tune each
different set of speakers to a frequency group, so you can tune your front
smaller speakers to a higher frequency where they perform better and your
subs in the rear to the low frequencies where they perform at their peak. I
have no idea how well it does this but it's better then nothing. Well the
point I'm trying to make is that I know you said you were into Pioneer or
Panasonic I can't remember which, but I've bought this deck at an amazing
deal and I should put it in my car as soon as it gets here. I'll let you
know how it works out. Usually this deck is around 240 to 260 at normal
retail and I found it for 140 before 15 shipping, so about $100 off brand
new. I've never dealt with the company I'm buying it from before so I can't
vouch for them and I've never had an "Excelon" deck before. It's basically
the upscale Kenwood stuff. It's worth a look and I won't be offended if you
decide on this or not, I just thought that it's what we were talking about
and what I want for sure and almost half off.
