10-step wash/wax

I dunno. Do you plan to use it on your Scirocco?

Lef Said:

The polishing compound should remove the same stuff that the clay bar picks out of the paint, since it (PC) is removing the top layer of paint.
My question was; what WAS that stuff that was a "preparation" for the wax??

The Clay bar pulls up the particulate grime that washing misses, the rubbing compound removes part of the paint to get out the scratches. At this level of perfection the stuff the clay bar takes off would have made more scratches in the surface during the buffing. As for the stuff he put on after the buffing was a preparation for the wax. I guess it helps the wax stick better. The last thing he says before the 6000 pound (about $10,000 USD) wax goes on is "You're looking at about 16 pound (25 USD) for two towels basically, which is alot more expensive then the towels I use to dry myself with". OCD much?
