A little comedy going into the holiday season

Welcome to the list. You got a good partner up there in Chris. BTW Chris I
got all the brackets off the rear window for the louvers and will get them
in he mail this weekend. Still have not gotten to the speedo yet :( Not a
lot of wrench time lately due to all the crappy weather and the shop
occupied by another scirocco.
Anyways Jesse, here are some roccos down in the Portland, Vancouver area I
have been watching:

It looks like a new OX sensor and it will pass OR DEQ and the wipers would
be an easy fix. $850 is a decent price for a car that looks to be in good
condition.
Or this would be a cool ride:

82 was the first year of the S2 body style. It has the retro S1 mono front
wiper! If the body was in good condition might be worth the price.

This one is a little closer to you and really makes me go hell yah:

I am partial to the earlier squared off S1 body style.
Good luck in the hunt and don't settle on the first one you see. These cars
are getting scarce but the right one for you is out there. Just have to
keep your eyes open and there is a lot of help on this list although most
posters on here are on the right coast :)
