OT: Other cars...anyone driven these?

as far as an mz3 (again, never having driven one), everything i've
read about them says they're not very good as sports cars--poor
handling, bad at limits, etc. i have thought about an m3 cv, but too
much $$$. as far as s2000 being a chick car, well, i guess maybe
you'd think that every 2 seater roadster is a chick car (unless it's a
porsche?). i'd classify the z3 as closer to chickiness than the
s2000. solstice/sky also, especially since the original was all looks
and no balls.
convertible is an absolute requirement here. and grown up meaning that
it will cost more than every car i've ever owned put together.
as far as power/weight and weight distro, they're both 50/50, and the
weight/power is nearly identical at 11 (s2k v. boxster s), depending
on what you find as their curb weights. i'm going to have to drive
both. nice thing about the boxster is the extra trunk space.
downside is maintanance, especially on a 3-4 year older car. and a
porsche. i'm expecting cost of ownership to be much less for the
honda. also, an '02 s in the right condition is going to be much
tougher to find. but yeah, there's no denying the appeal of owning a
porsche. and yeah, like probably about 1/2 the people on the list, i
plan on owning/restoring a vintage 911.

when i need the room (and hopefully have a chance to drive in snow
again!) i'm thinking about maybe an older wrx (if they ever get cheap
enough).
