OT:Re: Cincy - Anyone heading out of or through the Chicago area?

Ohhh... Ohhhh.
I flew to OH to buy a car. Leaving the house at 2:30am. 2 flights later, made it to the airport for pick up. Made a mad dash to the OH DMV and waited in line for (god knows) how long. 5 minutes before closing, the guy behind the desk, took one look and said "No rotary public". Damn. The original seller never had the doc certified. She was the only one that could.
Drive to the car and fell in love. Moving the car realised that the axle was bad. Drive to town (wilmington) and found the RIGHT part!
Back to replace the axle and swap wheels (they were that bad) and pull ALL the carpet and interior due to the fact mice used the car as a condo....
Leave Sunday morning. Made it to the out skirts of Columbus and the Alt dies. Arrrggghhh. Calling the wonderful Daun, he and Brad drove to my rescue with an older 65 amp alt.
600+ miles later. Feet stuck to the tar on the floor, eyes watering from mouse piss, I turned on to my road at 1:30 am, 1/2 a mile from home. One quick squeel and all 3 belts blew!. Pulling into the drive venting steam. God what a trip.
But she starts every day and gets me to and from work with out a problem!
We can continue this at Cincy! Yeee Haaa!
