Timbo is coming to cincy in a megasquirt rocco

Dan,
I thought the 16v dizzy's had hall with no vacuum advance? Thought is was
all done with the ICU and Knock? The 2.2PCB they had a table for the
setting on the timing for starters. I'm not real up on the spark timing,
but it looked like on there drawings they set it 10degrees then set the
trigger somewhere around 60? Sounded like they had it knocked down to an
art.

Here's the 2 threads I was talking about. Am I missing something on the
setup?

Thanks

Yeah, there isn't much to it, but don't forget you need to substitute a
fixed advance distributor for the normal mechanical and vacuum advance
distributor.
And let's not forget you need to have an idea of what advance the engine
needs to have across the load/RPM ranges.
There's no easy tool to help ignition tuning like the WB-O2 assists with
fuel tuning. Just avoiding ping or knock isn't enough.
Dan
