[8v] pumping issues

   so i've gotten to the point of where i believe my fuel pump has died. 
the transfer/secondary pump i can hear running and sound like a gurgle. 
i have fuel into the filter but nothing after the fuel meter. i replaced 
the meter with similar results on the new one. still nothing from the 
injectors. am i wrong to think that the main pump might be bad? working 
but not putting out enough pressure? be that the case, i'll buy one 
tomorrow (pity it'll be 30? colder outside). just wanting opinions 
before i shell out the money. thanx.
