tough question

so, in order to make my 16v the kind of daily driver i want, i think i need
to get a loan and plunk a pile of ca$h on the beast.

my current issues are:

won't pass emissions (HCL/CO) - (has the 16v CIS-E idle problem - but run
right as rain in the rain... (?))
heater blower doesn't work
front wipers weak (have to push them to get 'em going)
need to overhaul the 8v tranny i have to replace reverse bearings

(i can insert the transmission after the overhaul myself)


i *know* this is a tough question to answer, but can anyone offer high/low
estimates for the repairs i'll need?  just ballpark, for when i talk to my
credit union.
