T-Stat Q.



I currently do not have her, don't have time for the headache, but our very trustworthy mech says he's only seen one that looked that way and that was after it was hit by a semi.
   
  Yes, they try to be funny too.
   
  The hearter core didn't blow in the normal spot but at the plastic, lots of stress marks.
   
  Something like melted plastic/ rubberish was being forced through the plastic.

Dunno, just a guess... is there more of it in the thermostat 
housing/radiator hose, etc or just that blob we see in the photo?
