oh great scirocco king? help needed

yeah i know dont feed daun's ego but, i need help finding a new car to work 
on. i would prefer an 8v, tranny who cares what it is, slushbox or manual. 
only because my girlfriend might drive it once and a while. color really 
doesnt matter. i dont know what price to even start at, so any advice would 
be very helpful.
