was tune-up routine? now Solid lifters



If the cams are ground accurately, like a Schrick cam for instance, you can actually swap them out and the clearance will remain the same. Lumpiness doesn't matter as long as the cam's base circle is accurate.
Probably smart to at least check though.
I had a G grind and a Schrick 274 that I could swap for emissions testing without changing a shim.
