My car doesn't like the rain - Terrible Vibrations.

Check the lower control arm bushings.  Saw this problem in a Quantum once.
 It was worn/loose enough to oscillate when the tire had less than ideal
traction.  The wheel assembly was actually vibrating not the engine, but
it felt like it was the engine.
