My experience has been, that if you correctly size the heat shrink tubing for the job, it performs marvelously. Larry sandiego16v So is it the PH of the rosin that causes corrosion? If I don't use any, would that be OK? I'm good with stuffing some dielectric grease around the joint when it is done. I too have found heatshrink to be a big expensive dissapointment on jobs like this. BH
