Well this is just it. And I know I'll be flamed up to wazoo about that.
(And there are serious engineering concerns, no question) This car _at
most_ is worth whatever a beater with a plate on it is. Bottom line? It's
never going to be pristine, a show car, whatever. And that's not my intent
anyway. I bought it as parts, and it may end up that way for several other
reasons I'll not bore you with. But if the structural integrity of it is
too far gone, the other reasons don't matter at all, it'll never go back on
the road. Ask Anson what's fixable when the whole car is worth more than a
few hundred bucks. I bet he could spin some yarns of reclaimed exotics that
would scare us all shitless. I just hate to see them parted when there's
hope, you know?

And as far as mods? It does depend on the jurisdiction. Here in Ontario,
they actually published a book on it. Mine are all illegal anyway, for
stupid piddly stuff, like having the evil Euro plate on the front.
