Alternator woes!!!!

I don't know, all I DO know is that it will reveal itself in due time,
probably when you least want it to. I mean, the belt shouldn't need
constant tightening. I'll ask the kid when he gets home, he had an absolute
love affair going with the POS Jetta's alternator belt. I should say
belt_s_. About nineteen of them. How's that bolt at the base of the
bracket? It's not slumping there is it?
And once more for the record, I really hate the Cabby's alternator, every
aspect of it. For this reason alone, it will live a long life, just to
torment me.
