Calling all Transmission Experts!

The starter bushing requires one of those little pullers that expands outward.
Or you can get a slide hammer with a hook type fitting that will fit
inside the bushing.
Or you can drill an 1/8" hole on the other side and punch it out.
But quite frankly I've never replaced one. Measure the ID and if it's
within .010" of the shaft I imagine you'll be fine. It's not a high
speed or high positional accuracy situation.

The seal around the input shaft. Again you'll need a small hook type
arrangement that will let you pry or slide hammer the seal out.

The pushrod seal. If you're going to do that do the bushing inside the
shaft at the same time or you're sort replacing a potential leak
without fixing the cause.
My method for pushing both out from the 5th gear end of the tranny is
to grind the end flat on a spare pushrod, insert it in the hole and
while purposely forcing it off center hammer the bushing out.

I'm not trying to kluge this, but as it turns out there are lots of
"home remedies" where the Bentley says you need a special tool.
