Warm up reg gone bad??

Yes, I keep saying I need to go and get a CIS fuel pressure gauge. This
weekend is finally going to be the day :)

The injectors went in first (with a new filter to protect them). Then the
pump was replaced (with another new filter just to be safe).

Pulled the warm reg off yesterday. The screen had some crap in it. Not
enough to plug it, but who knows. I found another one at a wrecker cheap
so I will grab that today and install it tonight to see if it helps. I
figured having a spare is never a bad thing :)

If the used one works, maybe I will disassemble the old one and see if I
can't clean it out and get it working well. Might even try to make it
adjustable while I am at it...

Just for shits and giggles, what was the sequence of the pump, etc, and
injectors? I chased what became known as "assrunning" for ages assuming
that my new injectors were fine, but swapping for a used set improved
things a lot. I'm going to swap again for a new new set, since the spray
pattern still isn't great. But the point is, I think I sent crap into the
new ones when I swapped out a bunch of other components. Distributor, fuel
pump, etc got done after the injectors. (Man, I sure huffed a lot last
year.) The filter should catch the crap, but who knows. I'd check the
spray
patterns to rule it out. And there are screens on the WUR that could have
crap in them, give them a cleaning too. Then on to the ever popular
bentley
tests for pressure...
