The Borla is the quiet one?

It's mostly because you have the hidden tip, Tonee.
I'm curious to see how much quieter the 4-Motion tailpipe will be for you.
Going back to the drop in K&N will help a little too.

Compared to a Superturbo, or Flowmaster, the Borla is quieter.
I've had people complain that it's too quiet, usually from 8V people. 

It all depends on what engine you have, and the 16V makes a lot more noise
than an 8V.

The extra long TT/Borla muffler for the 16V definitely helps...

If you have the stock downpipe with an intact CAT, it won't be that loud.

If you have a race downpipe that eliminates the cat, it will be a lot
louder, because the CAT helps to quiet the exhaust.

Mark, I've put a TT ss w/ Borla on Ellen's corrado vr6 and my gti vr6 and
it's far from quiet, now on 1.8-2.0l I'm not sure but I can't imagine a
Borla being quiet on any engine.
