Fixing things I've done wrong - Battery relocation

My dad is looking for a battery for his nova project, my battery cable is
damaged - I am going to sell him my optima and look into the small battery
option sooner than expected.

How does it mount in the stock location? I do have some clearance issues,
so if it's sitting up higher than the stock battery, let me know (there is a
charge pipe right above where the battery used to be).

Now I won't have to get a kill switch and a battery box. yay

I'm chiming in to second the Braille battery option (when your current
battery dies of course). I've had one for a little over a year now and I
really like it. The front end felt "noticeably lighter" during cornering
after I installed it. That's just obervation on my part, but you can't argue
with removing weight from the front of the car, especially that far toward
the front. If I remember correctly, there was an alternative to the Braille
that was cheaper, but a little heavier (13lbs maybe?). Maybe someone can
help me out on a specific brand name for that one. Anyway, I do prefer the
lighter battery option to the relocation option simply for the safety
factor, I never have to check the battery cables to be sure my car isn't
going to catch on fire.
