AC Relay info

I've got an AC relay from an 81 Scirocco that has 5 contacts.
Trouble is the schematic indicates it should have 8.
The center contact does look like it was cut off on this one although why anybody would do that is beyond me!
It looks to be the correct PN according to ETKA, 171 959 143A.
Can anybody that has a functioning AC system in an 81 or earlier take a look at their relay and verify PN and pin count??
