Wedge Engineering Seat bracket for Recaro...?

Hey Jeff,

Low is good. I was pissed off when I got all the stuff finally to put my
recaro's in and the brackets were higher than the factory seats or the power
brakets. I called wedge engineering to ask them what the hell. They told me
about modifying them to work. Strange that I spend $150 for both brackets
and have to do surgery to get them to work. Anyway, There really isn't too
much you can do to make them lower than the tabs will allow. There is a
speed shop here in Redmond that makes custom brakets for cars that want to
roll recaro's or other seats. Their stuff is a tad different and is lower
but they are custom and welded up from scratch. They were like $300 for the
set. You also have to drop your car off for a few days. The $300 is just for
the brackets and not the sliders.

If you're crafty with a wire feed you can make them lower. got to cut out
each corner and weld in some new tabs. Also you can cut the front tab and
gusset it up to lower that too. I've seen people do that.
