I headed to Florida on Saturday morning very early to deliver my MKI to Dan
Snow. We met at his dad's place in Arcadia.  I got a chance to see the
storage buildings as well as peek at his current projects.  I left my camera
in the truck so I don't have any pics (I am blaming this lapse of judgment
on my cold and the meds I was taking, Al tell Sandei they worked great.) 

After unloading the MKI we went to the storage buildings and I got to see
all of Dan's cars and Sport Truck as well as everything that Lowell has done
or is planning to do.  WOW!!!!  Eye candy for the VW lover. 

After leaving Lowell's I had to pick up a car in St Pete for the guy that I
am buying my new MKI from (more on that when it gets here.) He bought a
Porsche 356 Speedster.  OMD!  This thing is gorgeous.  Weight is around
1200lbs according to the seller. I agree it was very light. I parked it nest
to my Yellow BBS Rocc.  I'll get some pics today and post them.

So my weekend consisted of 17 of driving (delivery and pick up) on Saturday
and another 9 hours of driving on Sunday.  My wife says no complaining as it
wasn't her idea to have an affliction that only those of us on the list can
understand.

We know Julie's bonding with the new red beast, Dan's got gobs of dyno data
to play with, and I'm sitting here with my face all swollen up. So what of
the rest of ya? Hmmmm???? I'm just back from my first drive in the bug in
about a month.....it sure isn't an A1....
