Just got back from a weekend in Strawberry, AZ.  About 7 hours from
the San Diego area and 6000 ft elevation.  Phoenix based friends have
a second home there.  Blasted a bunch of beer cans with assorted .22,
.32, .357, 30-30, and 9mm out in the forest.  Drank a bit too much,
ate a bit too much.  Nice cruise in the Benz but would have been
living hell in the non-a/c Scirocco.  Outside air sensor was
indicating as high as 106F crossing the desert today.
