Okay, try again...or never mind!

di·e·lec·tric ( P ) Pronunciation Key (d-lktrk)

n.

A nonconductor of electricity, especially a substance with electrical conductivity of less than a millionth (10-6) of a siemens.

So, the moral of the story is...

Use of vaseline might have an adverse affect on your siemens.

Thank you and good night.

Brian

PS: Cathy, stick your magic wand in some vaseline and tell us whether it is capable of transmitting sparks. I mean that in the best way possible.

Dielectric grease IS non-conductive.

larry
sandiego16v

Be sure to use lube that is as NON-CONDUCTIVE as possible. I recall you mentioned dielectric grease (bad nono).
_______________________________________________
Scirocco-l mailing list
Scirocco-l@scirocco.org
http://neubayern.net/mailman/listinfo/scirocco-l
