I just want to DRIVE a Scirocco

I know the feeling, but honestly, be glad you even have the
opportunity to wrench on them. I currently have 2 of 2 sciroccos in
non running condition and cannot work on them.

I have to keep them 3 miles from where I live - and where I live is
literally about 3-5 square miles bounded by 15 foot walls and a river.
I can only leave on the weekends and lately have not been able to
dedicate that small sliver of time to the cars in weeks. I have a
dozen major projects that I really really want to work on, including
really exciting things like putting in a whole new coilover
suspension, and a hot new cylinder head/camshaft, and can't get to
them.

So just be glad you have the space to keep the cars and the time to
give them any measure of attention. It's more than some of us can
swing. I don't say that to make you or anyone else feel guilty or
anything, just venting my own frustrations.

I do wish you the best of luck getting em up and running again. I'm
sure they'll turn out fine.
