I wish there were a sure-fire way to keep them quiet.  Mine are
poly-graphite (black) and are fine most of the time, but hot weather
and speed bumps in a parking lot will make them groan when the lube
runs out.  The rear ones are usually not the noise makers, however.
They seem to retain the lubricant better.  The front a-arm bushings
require a re-lube every couple of years.
