Of course this car is testing you!!! You are his new owner and like many of ours they act like teenagers, or worse dogs on a pack. Always contemplating their pecking order. See if you let go now your 85 becomes Alpha car, nip that in the butt show him who is boss. It is obvious the previous ownwer ( hope he/she is not a lister) must have been Beta, delta, omega, or something like that cause you have yourself an Alpha attituded car.

 

Now, go brake its spirits so that it will perform on comand.
