This morning news on Rita is that landing will most likely be near Beaumont
Your folks may reconsider getting out of 'dodge' before that CAT 4 hits.

Tell them to head to Austin... even if they sleep in the car, better be out
of the way than in the way of that storm.

I'll probably drive them back down sometime next week.  They only agreed to
get on the plane because it was an emergency.  I figure if I take about 7
gallons of extra gas I'll be able to make it there and back in the van.
That isn't likely to be a fun trip.
