I've got one of the guys at the flight school in the air right now with a Piper Apache loaded full of my in-laws from Houston.  The good news is that he is bringing the little kids and the old sick folks up to us.  The bad news is they are going to be a handful.  My Mom's sister tried to drive up here (Tyler) today but turned back early on.  She is near Beaumont, which is going to get hit hard.  Her son made an 8 hour trip up here during last night.  The Wal-Mart here is a zoo and full of Houstoners.    



I'll probably drive them back down sometime next week.  They only agreed to get on the plane because it was an emergency.  I figure if I take about 7 gallons of extra gas I'll be able to make it there and back in the van.  That isn't likely to be a fun trip.
