Can 1.8T spark plugs be used in a 8v hydro head?

Hi folks - a score of bits from defunct mechanic a while ago netted me 
some new 3-tipped Bosch F7 LTCR plugs which I understand are OEM for the 
B5/A4 1.8T. Can they be used in a 8v hydro head? They fit the threads 
just fine....
