Fwd: Coolant Sensor and other strangeness

Oh and the most important mod of all today... I finally applied the
scirocco.org sticker to the 85. I screwed up though. I used a little
windex to make sure that I had good adhesion. The sticker and
surrounding couple inches looks great. It's just the rest of the
glass looks like shit. In the immortal words of Ripley; "Oops I made
a clean spot."

Since posting the first time, I drove it this evening for a few... and
the GREEN LED oil temp gauge LOOKS GREAT... if only the oil temp gauge
would work. ;) I think I have a loose connection.

Other thing was that the two lights that blink when the key is turned
on (but not started) came on a few times when I was driving it. I
listened to the radio all afternoon so I am hoping that the battery
was just a little low. I have always have that blink when I start
before I rev the engine--probably the exciter right? I will drive it
to work tommorow to see how she does.

I am wondering if that sticker jinxed me. LOL

Speaking of stickers... Cathy have you had a chance to mess with the
rear glass Scirocco sticker yet? You got a rubbing ya know... and you
haven't reciprocated. (I couldn't resist that one!)

Thanks all
G'nite
Chris

My new mantra:
Keep it out of gear.
Disable that @#$% remote starter.
Don't be a dipshit and try to stop a rolling car.
Keep fingers by keeping them to myself.
Remove the F'ing screwdriver from my back pocket.
