What's amazing is to go back and look at the road test figures from the 
original Z-cars.  They felt and sounded fast as all hell back in their 
day, but their performance figures said otherwise - and remember this 
was just BEFORE the onset of the smog era that really choked just about 
everything for a long time.  0-60 times were in the mid-9's, and the 
quarter mile times were in the 16's.  We've come a long way since then!
