Air compressor line question

With a long line, (theoretically) you won't lose static pressure but you
will lose flow (CFH), which will reduce working pressure. Use the largest
pipe possible to keep this at a minimum; at least 1.5". I'd use copper if
you want it to last a long time, iron if you don't care if it rusts out in
20 years.
