8v to 16v conversion how much work?

And install the knock box, and change the exhaust...and a great many
little things, putting a 16v (assuming a crate engine ready to roll)
I calculate ~ 14hrs of work, get a bunch of guys together and
get'r'done.

As far as doing it in a weekend, if you have a complete donor
Scirocco, I don't see why not!
Nothing to fab. Biggest deal is the wiring and believe it or not the
harnesses can be removed, intact, from the car, so with some planning
it could be done.
