transaxle leak



There is a circlips that holds the flange onto the shaft.  The clamp takes the pressure off of the flange (via spring in the tranny), and allows you to remove the circlip without loosing it...

  How do you get the flange out.  It is pressed on the splined gear.  I had to hammer (rubber) them off my sons but that was when it was out of the car.  IT was difficult would had been nicer to have like a gear puller or something.
