Fuel Dist. Question

OKay, it's not "technically" a Rocc, but could be. Motronic 2L 16V in a
rabbit.
So, install handy jumper wire and raise air flow plate = no stream from the
injector, and nothing out of the union between the injector line and the
distributor. 

BUT, there IS a good squirt of fuel when you crack the main line to the
distributor, and the fuel pump runs. SO somewhere between the supply and
the output there's a problem. Sound like the dist is pooched? It was a
"new" one from the yard. What say ye?
