Rod/bearing/whatever.....something just went....

In case anyone cared/was wondering....

#3 rod bearing spun.
Remove & replaced crankshaft/all rod bearings/#3 rod
Tested & towed back to Tampa (have I ever mentioned how much I loath
towing cars with my Scirocco.....)


I think I may just chance it and go for it.....I don't want to miss
Cincy. Not fot my 5th year....ans especially since I'll have a different
'roc.

.....yup....the diesel was dragging my ass back from Clearwater when I
started hearing what sounded like my 16v's lifters......then it got
worse, so I pulled over and called a tow truck. I'll probably take
tomorrow off so I can (again) tow it to my dad's house so I can pull the
engine.


So I  may have to drive the gas-hog 16v anyways....if at all....$$.....

Damn.....but better here than Tennessee or Kentucky or something.......
